Shimmering colors, fiery heat, creative stimulation, beautiful results all await you in the fun and fabulous world of glass fusing. You would be surprised how easy it is to create stunningly beautiful designs which can be made into jewelry, tiles, drawer pulls, magnets, mosaics, and whatever else you can think of.
As an artisan, I have worked in many media and have been teaching classes and workshops for many years. Fused glass is one of those techniques that can be extremely gratifying from the very beginning. People who have felt creatively challenged for years, and are total beginners, can make pieces that take your breath away. What an empowering experience it is for them. Artists and artisans find a new means of expression that is exciting and stimulating.
So, if you are an artisan wanting to try this art form, or someone who has never felt creative at all, glass fusing can be an extremely rewarding means of personal creative expression.

As an avid Fused Glass Addict, I am dedicated to helping others learn to enjoy this exciting and satisfying medium. Fused Glass makes a great birthday party event, scout meeting, private party for friends, etc. I provide all the tools and materials necessary, you just bring your imagination and willingness to play and experiment.
I also offer bench time, private classes and firing services. I sell glass pieces in small sizes so you can build a pallette easily and inexpensively for your home studio. Or, you can use my glass and leave it with me to fire and you only pay for the glass you actually use, plus bench time. I also sell bails, magnets, bookmarks, letter openers, wine stoppers and other blanks which you can glue your glass to to create jewelry and other fine functional items.
If you desire to set up your own studio, I am also a distributor of Paragon Kilns, the best small kiln manufacturer in the US. I sell their kilns at substantially discounted prices and offer excellent customer service. I also sell glass cutters, nippers, fiber paper, etc. Feel free to stop by or call me to discuss the possibilities.

Beginner's Fused Glass
Tuition is $30 plus materials
This one night class will teach you how to layer colored, dichroic and clear glass in a variety of ways to create shimmering and beautiful jewelry sized cabochons. This class will cover types of glass, compatability, cutting glass, desigining your piece for shape and color, and more. Because of the huge pallette of colors we always have on hand here at Art & Soul, the design possibilities are endless.
Offered on the following dates: June 24 or July 7 - 6:30 p.m.
Bench time is also available for $5 per hour or $50 per month. Use the studio space, tools, etc.
