Art & Soul. is both a Gallery and a Studio owned and operated by Lis-el and Alexis Crowley.

Lis-el has been working in the creative field for over 30 years. Her background includes pottery, metalsmithing, fiber, fused glass and metal clay. She has taught and exhibited nationally and has had work featured in Art Jewelry Magazine and in an upcoming book on Metal Clay.

Alexis is a person who really exists and is not just a figment of your imagination. More to come on this elusive character.

The Gallery was created in the spirit of fun and contemporary creativity. In the gallery, we showcase our work and the work of other local artists and artisans. We have striven to create a warm and comfortable atmosphere for browsing, admiring, and purchasing. We have a lovely sitting area, gourmet coffee and teas, and a welcoming spirit. Feel free to stop in to browse, have a chat, and see what local artists are creating these days.

The Studio, or 'Creation Station' as Lis-el would call it, is a place to nurture your creativity and grow rainbows of love in your hair. We offer many classes and workshops in a variety of media. A complete listing of classes can be found on our classes page.

We also offer bench time, if you have taken a class with us you may come in for a small price and use our studio anytime we're open (unless there is a special event going on). There is a great community of people developing who come in to use the studio and find comaraderie as well as creative opportunities here.

In the spirit of fostering creativity, we also have a lending library of books and magazines which are available on an honor system.

We are located in the Price Chopper Plaza in Windsor Ct, between Creative Fibers and Wine Loft. There is ample parking and it is just off exit 38 of Interstate 91.
